CQ Block in progress

Heather says that it may still require a bit more . . . . like some leaves around the three center flowers.

Really sweet! And leaves around the flowers would be charming! Hope the birthday was as special!

It's come up a treat Dawn;how about adding a fine tracery of ferns (in a flystitch).
It will soften the starkness of the flowers....and if you curve a stem down, it will lead the eye to the next patch.
If you can access books on floral arrangement, you'll see what I'm trying to say.

Thanks Leslie!

I'll have Heather read what you've written here about her block Maureen. Thanks! Yes, plenty of books for ideas here, and the local library is a mile and a half away.
