First snowstorm of the season

Yesterday we received our first snowfall, even though winter will not officially be here until the 22nd.

The weather report said 'flurries,' which is how it all began.

A few short hours later our world had become a winter wonderland.

Unexpected beauty as the day ended .......

Breathtaking photos, Dawn!
We've just how our first snow and with high winds that were frightening in their intensity. All the horses were safely tucked away in barns and the sheep rode out the storm asleep on the hillside.

Visit this website, NAYY, for a **delightful** Christmas song! And, if you know who the group is, please let me know as I'd love to buy the CD.

Merry Christmas!

Our first snow only stayed on the ground a few hours, but it was pretty while it lasted. The winds here have been fierce!

Love the beautiful pictures in the last post!
